ClearCart 'could help' businesses

Monday 19 October 2009

Brands particularly interested in targeting female customers could benefit from using ClearCart - a hosted shopping cart platform - as approximately 80 per cent of its users are women.

This is the opinion of chief executive and co-founder of the company Emily Dickinson, who affirmed that the product is made by - and for - women, with a "clear, elegant, feminine design".

Drawing on feedback received from those already using the service, Ms Dickinson noted that many businesses "tell us all that time that ClearCart is easier to manage, more flexible and easier for their customers to use".

She further noted that a company's choice of shopping cart is one of the most important they can make, adding that ClearCart focuses on creating a "clear and straightforward" retail experience.

Last month, Graham Charlton of Econsultancy observed that landing pages are an important part of the eCommerce process and it is essential they direct customers to relevant sites.
